Excellence in Micro Business (1-5 staff)

For businesses employing less than 5 employees on payroll in Australia such as contractors, casuals and labour hire staff.

The Excellence in Micro Business award recognises a business, employing less than 5 employees that have attained significant growth and are able to demonstrate the specific strategies and processes implemented to achieve sustainable growth in the previous 12 months.

 

Excellence in Small Business (6-19 staff)

(For businesses employing less than 20 employees on payroll in Australia such as contractors, casuals and labour hire staff)  

The Excellence in Small Business award recognises a business, employing less than 20 that has attained significant growth and is able to demonstrate the specific strategies and processes implemented to achieve sustainable growth in the previous 24 months.

 

Excellence in Business (20 + staff)

(For businesses employing more than 20 employees on payroll in Australia such as contractors, casuals and labour hire staff).

The Excellence in Business award recognises a business that has attained significant growth and is able to demonstrate the specific strategies and processes implemented to achieve sustainable growth over the previous 24 months.

 

Employer of Choice

The Employer of Choice award recognises organisations that put in place strategies and initiatives to create stimulating and supportive workplace environments for their employees. These strategies or initiatives must have a positive impact on both employees and the organisation as a whole.

The Excellence in Construction and Trades award recognises a business that has attained significant growth in the past 24 months, and is able to demonstrate specific strategies and examples that have contributed to their success.

The Excellence in Education award recognises a business that has attained significant growth in the past 24 months and is able to demonstrate specific strategies and examples that have contributed to their success.

 

Excellence in Food, Wine and Hospitality

The Excellence in Food, Wine and Hospitality award recognises a business that has attained significant growth in the past 24 months, and is able to demonstrate specific strategies and examples that have contributed to their success.

 

Excellence in Health, Fitness and Wellbeing

The Excellence in Health, Fitness and Wellbeing award recognises a business that has attained significant growth in the past 24 months, and is able to demonstrate specific strategies and examples that have contributed to their success.

Emerging Business Leader (18-34)

The Outstanding Business Leader award recognises the positive contribution made to business by business people and professionals. The award recognises those who demonstrate outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, strategic business direction and innovative ideas, whilst providing inspiration to a new generation of upcoming business leaders. Individuals entering into this category can be self-employed or employed by a business  

 

Experienced Business Leader (35 +)

The Experienced Business Leader award recognises the positive contribution made to business by business people and professionals. The award recognises those who demonstrate outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, strategic business direction and innovative ideas, whilst providing inspiration to a new generation of upcoming business leaders. Individuals entering into this category can be self-employed or employed by a business  

 

Best New Recruit

The Best New Recruit award recognises an inspiring employee who demonstrates initiative and has made significant contributions to their organisation. To enter this award, the individual must have been employed by their current employer for less than two years.

 

Outstanding Employee

The Outstanding Employee award recognises an inspiring employee who demonstrates initiative and has made significant contributions to their organisation. They embody the values of the organisation, and can demonstrate strategies to point the business in the direction of its goals.

Hall of Fame

Hall of Fame is voted by the Orange Business Chamber Board. Recognises those who demonstrate outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, strategic business direction and innovative ideas, whilst providing inspiration to a new generation of upcoming business leaders.
